About
Fairport Harbor Arts and Culture Alliance (FHACA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Dedicated to the support and growth of the arts and culture community in Fairport Harbor, FHACA consists of local small business owners and community leaders. The Alliance has lofty, yet achievable goals for its first year of existence (2020). We have been tasked with reinvigorating the free summer concert series at the Lighthouse Amphitheater. To achieve this goal, we are bringing in trending “original” bands for the village and surrounding community to enjoy. With the recent news of Fairport’s Harvey’s Farm Market retiring, we have begun setting up a Friday Farmers Market from June to October. Finally, in August, we will be hosting our first Beer and Donuts .5k/5k, a perfect way to enjoy the outdoors and the finer things in life.
These events, although fun, have a deeper purpose. FHACA is attempting to reshape the image of Fairport Harbor and create a culture around art and music, health, and “happy” living. We feel that many of these goals can be reached early in life, and that is why profits acquired through our events will go toward our schools - to keep them in town and support their IB curriculum (specifically the third core item, “creativity, activity, and service”).
Please join us at one of our many events throughout the year and have some fun!
